Chef-driven duck paitan noodle bar blending Japanese technique with local soul at Alexandra Central.
Liu Lang Mian — literally "vagabond noodles" — is the brainchild of Chef Hubert Arnold, a former head chef at Kilo Kitchen who pivoted from a home-based soba kit business (Soba25) into this cosy 10-to-15-seater at Alexandra Central. The shop blends Japanese ramen craft with bold Chinese flavours, resulting in bowls that feel both meticulous and deeply local. Vintage posters and simple furnishings give it the charm of an old-school ramen-ya, and the no-GST, no-service-charge policy is a quietly generous touch.Operating hours not available

The noodle is delicious. Al-dante noodles. Perfect jap Noodles. I tried the truffle miso shroom and the signature chilli. If you like something more Chinese you can get the signature chilli and if you are more adventurous, go for the truffle. Scallion pancake wasn't really my thing but it was still pretty good.
