John's Pizzeria & Bakery has been a sourdough pizza pioneer in Singapore since 2018, turning out honest-to-goodness American-style pies from its Alexandra Central and East Coast outlets. The menu spans three crust styles — a foldable 14-inch New York slice, a caramelised-edge Detroit deep dish, and a thick-buttery 8-inch Chicago pie — all built on a house-made sourdough base that gives every bite a subtle tang and satisfying chew. There is even a gluten-free and cauliflower crust option for those who need it.

A 14-inch NY or Detroit feeds two to three adults comfortably, with prices ranging from the mid-twenties upward depending on toppings. The bakery side turns out classic American baked goods, and the Alexandra outlet (closed Mondays) takes online orders for pickup and delivery. One hundred per cent real pork pepperoni is imported straight from the States — none of those beef substitutes here.
