Hokkaido bento brand at Great World serving artfully arranged Japanese lunch boxes with seasonal Japanese ingredients.
Bentoss Kitchen is the Singapore outpost of a Hokkaido-born bento brand, bringing the Japanese art of the packed lunch to Great World''s basement food hall. Each bento is assembled with the visual precision that defines Japanese food culture, with rice, protein, and pickles arranged in separate compartments so flavours stay distinct and every bite is balanced. The menu draws on Hokkaido''s reputation for quality produce, featuring salmon, chicken katsu, and seasonal fish options alongside miso soup and house-made pickles. The bentos are prepared fresh throughout the day, making them a practical lunch option for shoppers and office workers who want a complete, balanced meal without the wait of a sit-down restaurant. The price point is accessible for Japanese food of this quality, typically in the S$10 to S$15 range.
Seasonal specials rotate with Japanese food calendars, celebrating ingredients like sansai in spring and sanma in autumn. Pick up a Bentoss bento when you want a proper Japanese lunch in a box, beautifully arranged and satisfyingly complete. It is Hokkaido craftsmanship you can eat with chopsticks.

Avoid! Pricey, bad taste and quality. Crappiest quality food. Had the soup curry, the chicken was not fresh and had a strong smell. It’s been 4 hours since I had the food and my stomach is still bloated even I drank a cup of tea. For the price I paid and for the bad quality soup curry I get, I would suggest you go upstairs to Okinawa restaurant or anzu ginza to get much better food around the same price. The carrot is tough, the turnips has a bad smell like bamboo shoot and barely cooked and tough in the middle. Over all a nasty meal

I felt the food was ok. Nothing fantastic but not terrible either. It’s not a place I would be craving to return to.

The original Bentoss at Liang Court used to be my favorite restaurant offering tasty noodles and dons at attractive prices. I am sad to say that this place has steadily gone downhill since its move to Kim Seng Promenade. It's been a year …
